Where have my angels gone?
I know not where
So beautiful and fair
Lost to me for some time now
Never to return

They came to me in times of despair
To pull me up from the darkness
That dared to consume my soul

Upon wings of love
And a light made of kindness
With an inner beauty
That surpasses their mortal shell

They put me on the path of light
And showed me the way
To follow the path as it leads me away

They left me to follow the light

When I wander from the path again
A new angel does appear
To guide me back again
And send me on my way
Then disappear again
When the time of need has passed

Is they guide others from the darkness
Back onto the path of light
And to lead them on their way
